About Us
Central Virginia Reporters is an
independently owned court reporting agency
serving the central Virginia area involving
the greater Roanoke area and extending to a
150-mile radius of the Roanoke Valley.
Robert D. Young, R.P.R., a professional
reporter for over thirty years, operates CVR
and is a member of the Virginia Court
Reporters Association and the National Court
Reporters Association. Mr. Young
formed CVR in 1967 beginning with three
reporters and the firm has grown over the
years to its present status of eighteen
stenotype reporters.
CVR offers
services in real time, compressed
transcripts, ASCII formatted disks,
complete video services as well as an
excellent video conferencing system.
